The geographical separation of business associates and limits to the effectiveness of email prompted a request for more efficient collaborative tools. The complexity of an Enterprise Resource Planner was prohibitive and a web based project management system was eventually adopted and implemented.

In order to manage transaction and expenditure and to improve workflow, core network architecture had to be brought to industry standard. New business practices, operational procedures and supporting technology systems were introduced. Comprehensive documentation and training then provided for the smooth transfer of ownership to new management.

Visual communication design for auditorium and meeting rooms.
With the goal of modernization and efficiency during the recession, a visual communications solution was presented and accepted. Technology improvements across a twelve-room conference center and auditorium complex continue to meet 2010 audiovisual best practice, and helped to bring related expenditures for IT and travel within 2008 fiscal budget requirements.

Because of a special relationship between the Lowy Institute and Westfield (below), the video and communications systems were designed to reflect the standards presented to the Westfield Group in 2006. Business practices for live events were also implemented.

In order to accommodate an international merger the early migration of video and audio services to a standardized IP model resulted in a communications infrastructure which continues to serve the company to this day. The flagship project during these four years was a boardroom design which pioneered the concept of video Telepresence technology two years before the same technology was packaged and marketed by Cisco and Tandberg.
